Definitely one of my favorite jobs while traveling. When I arrived in Australia, I could barely speak a word of English, let alone understand the Aussie accent \ud83d\ude33! Through constant customer contact, I quickly learned the language & made new contacts \u2600\ufe0f<\/p>\n

The most common job for backpackers! In the hostel, I had to clean for about 2 hours a day & got free accommodation for it. Definitely not the best job\u2026 It's smarter to work in a hotel or motel, as you usually get an hourly wage there! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Oh, I hate factory work. Never again! My task was to click the clips onto the bread box lids all the time, 12 hours a day, 6 days a week \ud83d\ude05. But I could make decent money there as a backpacker!<\/p>\n

Working on the Potato Field\ud83e\udd54<\/h3>\n

You wouldn't believe how fast the potatoes shoot through the machines. Here we had to quickly sort out everything that wasn't a potato. The best part: Listen to podcasts or music \ud83c\udfb6. Here, too, I worked at least 10 hours a day.<\/p>\n

I had to pick the kiwis that didn't have the right measurements and drop them on the ground. Easy job! The best part: Occasionally, I could see nests with very cute little birds \ud83d\ude0d. Plus, I could chat with other people about everything during work. Downside: Work gets canceled if it rains! \u2614\ufe0f<\/p>\n

Most of the time I got this job directly at the hostel. My task was to pick up the new guests from the bus stop. Again, easy! I had to drive 2 times a day for 10 minutes each, and in return, I didn't pay anything for my accommodation! Definitely better than cleaning \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n

My absolute favorite job! Here, I gained the most experience! The Outback is beautiful & has so much to offer. I got to know handling cattle, shooting, quad biking, motorcycling, the \"farmer culture,\" and so much more... You just have to experience it! \ud83d\ude0d<\/p>\n

Salary: $15 per hour + free accommodation + provisions<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

I didn't do my training as an educator for nothing! Working with children is still incredibly fun for me \ud83e\udd70! Plus, my host family was super lovable & I felt completely comfortable!<\/p>\n

Es ist schlauer in einem Hotel oder Motel zu arbeiten, da du dort meist einen Stundenlohn bekommst!\ud83d\ude09<\/p>

Arbeiten in einer Plastikfabrik\u2620\ufe0f<\/h3>

Ohh, ich hasse Fabrikarbeit. Nie wieder! Meine Aufgabe bestand darin die ganze Zeit die Knipser an die Brotdosendeckel zu klicken und das 12 Std. 6 Tage die Woche\ud83d\ude05. Aber f\u00fcr ein Backpacker konnte ich dort ordentlich Geld machen!<\/p>

Gehalt: 22 Dollar pro Std.\ud83d\udcb0<\/p>\n

Arbeiten auf dem Kartoffelfeld\ud83e\udd54<\/h3>

Du glaubst gar nicht in was f\u00fcr einer Geschwindigkeit die Kartoffeln durch die Ger\u00e4te geschossen werden. Hier mussten wir z\u00fcgig, alles was keine Kartoffel ist, aussortieren. Das Beste: Sch\u00f6n Podcast o. Musik h\u00f6ren\ud83c\udfb6. Auch hier arbeitete ich mind. 10 Stunden pro Tag.<\/p>

Arbeiten auf dem Kiwifeld\ud83e\udd5d<\/h3>

Die Kiwis, die nicht die richtigen Ma\u00dfe hatten, musste ich pfl\u00fccken und auf den Boden fallen lassen. Easy Job! Das Beste: Ab und zu konnte ich Nester sehen mit ganz s\u00fc\u00fc\u00fc\u00dfen kleinen V\u00f6gelchen\ud83d\ude0d. Au\u00dferdem konnte ich w\u00e4hrend der Arbeit mit den anderen Leuten \u00fcber Gott & die Welt quatschen. Nachteil: Bei Regen f\u00e4llt die Arbeit ins Wasser!\u2614\ufe0f<\/p>

Mein Fahrdienst Job\ud83d\ude90<\/h3>

Meistens habe ich diesen Job direkt im Hostel bekommen. Meine Aufgabe bestand darin die neuen G\u00e4ste von der Bushaltestation abzuholen. Wieder mal Easy! 2x pro Tag musste ich daf\u00fcr 10 Minuten fahren und daf\u00fcr habe im Gegenzug nichts f\u00fcr meine Unterkunft bezahlt! Auf jedenfall besser als Putzen\ud83d\ude02<\/p>

Die Arbeit im Outback\ud83e\udd98<\/h3>

Meine absolute Lieblingsarbeit! Hier sammelte ich die meisten Erfahrungen! Das Outback ist wundersch\u00f6n & hat unglaublich viel zu bieten. Ich lernte den Umgang mit Rindern kennen, schie\u00dfen, Quad fahren, Motorrad fahren, die ''Farmer-Kultur'' & so viel mehr.... Das muss man einfach erlebt haben!\ud83d\ude0d<\/p>

Gehalt: 15 Dollar pro Stunde + freie Unterkunft + Versorgung<\/p>\n

Die Arbeit als Au-Pair \ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udc67\u200d\ud83d\udc66<\/h3>

Ich habe ja meine Ausbildung als Erzieherin schlie\u00dflich nicht umsonst gemacht! Die Arbeit mit Kindern macht mir immer noch unglaublich viel Spa\u00df\ud83e\udd70! Zudem war meine Gastfamilie super liebenswert & ich habe mich rundum wohl gef\u00fchlt!<\/p>
