Our road trip from Rio to S\u00e3o Paulo \u2600\ufe0f<\/h2>\n
After Carnival in Rio, we embarked on an 8-day car rental tour along the Costa Verde. Our first stop was Ilha Grande.<\/div>\n

On the first day, we took a speedboat from Angra dos Reis to Ilha Grande\ud83d\udea4. The crossing took half an hour in total. When we arrived, we were completely speechless\ud83d\ude36. A beautiful golden beach, crystal-clear water & in the background, the green jungle\ud83e\udd70. Where have we landed? In paradise?\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude4c<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In our first accommodation, we had a cute balcony overlooking the sea. What could be better than relaxing in a hammock & listening to the birds chirping? Maybe a hearty breakfast? I don't know. I found both awesome! \ud83d\ude04<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In the evening, we strolled around the small village. Here you'll find shopping opportunities & plenty of restaurants on every corner. Prices for a good dinner range from about 20-30 euros per plate, so quite high! In the supermarket, prices are roughly the same as on the mainland - but of course, with slightly less choice. You can get clothes here at fairly reasonable prices. <\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Overall, we had a lot of fun! Ilha Grande was one of my absolute highlights on our tour\ud83e\udd70! It definitely won't be the last time we visit this beautiful island! Next, we headed back to the mainland. From there, we got our rental car to drive to Paraty\ud83d\ude98. The car ride was super easy. Finally, no potholes on the roads! \ud83d\udc4d Fuel prices are around 1.20 euros per liter. \u26fd\ufe0f<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

When we arrived, we were initially enchanted by our new suite at the Hotel Pousada do Ouro! The whole building, like the city of Paraty, is kept in a chic, colonial style. Incredibly cool! \ud83d\ude0e

In the afternoon, we explored the beautiful old town of Paraty. There were restaurants and small boutiques on every corner\ud83d\udecd. Jewelry makers sold their handmade works in the narrow streets. Everything was very well maintained. I was particularly fascinated by the beautiful, brightly painted doors! \ud83d\udd8d<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

On the way to S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o, we made a few stops at great waterfalls! That's what I love about road trips. Just stop wherever you want. Max took the pictures - Doesn't it look like something out of a storybook, right? \u263a\ufe0f<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

When we arrived at our new accommodation at Maui Maresias, there was a little gift for me on the bed\ud83c\udf81. Have you ever received a piece of jewelry from a hotel? It was definitely the first time for me! \ud83e\udd70 Later, we had a freshly squeezed juice outside. Meanwhile, a saxophonist played his music - absolutely delightful atmosphere! \ud83c\udfb7\ud83c\udfb6 <\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The next day, we spent a night at our final accommodation called Nau Royal Hotel Boutique and Spa. As the name suggests, there was a large spa offering & outside there was a swimming pool, as well as a whirlpool with a sea view. We also enjoyed the view during the rich breakfast! The staff were once again very nice & fulfilled our every wish. A nice end to our Costa Verde tour!<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Conclusion: The Gateway Tour was one of the best parts of our Brazil trip. My absolute highlight was definitely Ilha Grande - this island simply enchanted me\ud83e\ude84. The waterfalls were also particularly beautiful & of course, the chic accommodations - with the super delicious breakfast! It was sooo nice not to have to plan anything. The organization went smoothly - there were no problems at all\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\ude0d! A big thank you to the great Gateway Team \ud83d\udc90!<\/p>\n

Unser Roadtrip von Rio nach S\u00e3o Paulo\u2600\ufe0f<\/h2> Nach dem Karneval in Rio machten wir eine 8-t\u00e4gige Mietwagen-Tour entlang der Coasta Verde. Unser erster Stopp war Ilha Grande. Am ersten Tag fuhren wir von Angra dos Reis mit einem Schnellboot zur Insel Ilha Grande\ud83d\udea4. Die \u00dcberfahrt dauerte insgesamt eine halbe Stunde. Als wir ankamen, waren wir erstmal v\u00f6llig sprachlos\ud83d\ude36. Ein wundersch\u00f6ner, goldfarbener Strand, glasklares Wasser & im Hintergrund der gr\u00fcne Urwald\ud83e\udd70. Wo sind wir denn hier gelandet? Im Paradies?\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude4c<\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" columns=\"2\" ids=\"1929,1930\"]\n

Es war einfach unbeschreiblich sch\u00f6n. Das Beste aber: Die menschenleeren Str\u00e4nde! Absolute Ruhe & Natur pur! <\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" columns=\"1\" ids=\"1931\"]\n

In unserer ersten Unterkunft hatten wir einen s\u00fc\u00dfen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer. Was gibt es Sch\u00f6neres, als in einer H\u00e4ngematte zu entspannen & dabei dem Vogelgezwitscher zu lauschen? Vielleicht ein reichhaltiges Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck? Ich wei\u00df es nicht. Ich fand beides Hammer! \ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" ids=\"1934,1936,1937\"]\n

Am Abend bummelten wir ein bisschen durch das kleine Dorf. Hier findest du an jeder Ecke Einkaufsm\u00f6glichkeiten & eine Menge Restaurants. Die Preise f\u00fcr ein gutes Dinner liegen bei ca. 20-30 Euro pro Teller, also schon ziemlich hoch! Im Supermarkt sind die Preise ungef\u00e4hr wie auf dem Festland - aber nat\u00fcrlich mit etwas weniger Auswahl. Die Touren sind preiswert. Wir zahlten f\u00fcr unsere 5-St\u00fcndige Schnorchel-Tour 20 Euro pro Person. Vollkommen Okay \ud83d\ude1bBei diesem Wasser ist schnorcheln auch eines der MUST DO's ! Die Unterwasserwelt war unglaublich! \ud83d\udc20\ud83d\udc22

Insgesamt hatten wir eine Menge Spa\u00df! Ilha Grande war eines meiner absoluten Highlights auf unserer Tour\ud83e\udd70! Es wird definitiv nicht das letzte Mal sein, dass wir diese wundersch\u00f6ne Insel besuchen! Paraty\u2600\ufe0f<\/h2>

Als N\u00e4chstes machten wir uns wieder auf zum Festland. Von dort aus bekamen wir unseren Mietwagen, um weiter nach Paraty zu fahren\ud83d\ude98. Die Autofahrt war super easy. Endlich mal keine L\u00f6cher auf den Stra\u00dfen! \ud83d\udc4d Die Spritpreise liegen bei ungef\u00e4hr 1,20 Euro pro Liter. \u26fd\ufe0f<\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" columns=\"1\" ids=\"1951\"]\n

Als wir ankamen waren wir zun\u00e4chst ganz verzaubert von unserer neuen Suite im Hotel Pousada do Ouro! Das ganze Geb\u00e4ude ist, wie die Stadt Paraty, in einem schicken, kolonialen Stil gehalten. Unglaublich cool! \ud83d\ude0e

Am Nachmittag erkundeten wir die sch\u00f6ne Altstadt von Paraty. An jeder Ecke gab es Restaurants und kleine Boutiquen\ud83d\udecd. In den kleinen Gassen verkauften Schmuckh\u00e4ndler ihre handgemachten Werke. Alles war sehr gepflegt. Besonders fasziniert war ich von den sch\u00f6nen, buntbemalten T\u00fcren! \ud83d\udd8d<\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" ids=\"1971,1962,1965\"]\n

S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o \ud83d\ude0a<\/h2>

Auf dem Weg nach S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o machten wir noch ein paar Stopps bei tollen Wasserf\u00e4llen! Das liebe ich an Roadtrips. Einfach anhalten, wo immer man m\u00f6chte. Die Bilder hat Max gemacht - Das sieht doch aus wie aus dem Bilderbuch, oder? \u263a\ufe0f<\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" ids=\"1977,1976,1975\"]\n

Als wir in unserer neuen Unterkunft im Maui Maresias ankamen, lag ein kleines Geschenk f\u00fcr mich auf dem Bett\ud83c\udf81. Hast du jemals ein Schmuckst\u00fcck von einem Hotel geschenkt bekommen? F\u00fcr mich war es definitv das erste Mal! \ud83e\udd70 Sp\u00e4ter tranken wir drau\u00dfen noch einen frischgepressten Saft. W\u00e4hrenddessen spielte ein Saxophonist seine Musik- eine absolut herrliche Stimmung!\ud83c\udfb7\ud83c\udfb6 <\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" ids=\"1993,1992,1994\"]\n

Am n\u00e4chsten Tag schliefen wir eine Nacht in unserer letzten Unterkunft namens Nau Royal Hotel Boutique and Spa. Wie der Name schon sagt, gab es ein gro\u00dfes Spa Angebot & drau\u00dfen gab es ein Schwimmbecken, sowie einen Whirpool mit Meerblick. Auch beim reichhaltigen Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck genossen wir die Sicht! Die Mitarbeiter waren wieder einmal sehr nett & erf\u00fcllten uns jeden Wunsch. Ein sch\u00f6ner Abschluss unserer Costa Verde Tour!<\/p>\n[gallery _orderbyrandom=\"false\" ids=\"1988,1989,1990\"]\n

Fazit: Die Gateway-Tour war eines der besten Parts unserer Brasilienreise. Mein absolutes Highlight war definitiv Ilha Grande- diese Insel hat mich einfach verzaubert\ud83e\ude84. Besonders sch\u00f6n waren auch die Wasserf\u00e4lle & nat\u00fcrlich die schicken Unterk\u00fcnfte- mit dem suuuuper leckeren Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck! Es war sooo sch\u00f6n mal nichts planen zu m\u00fcssen. Die Organisation lief einwandfrei - es gab keinerlei Probleme\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\ude0d! Ein gro\u00dfes Danke an das tolle Gateway Team \ud83d\udc90!<\/p>
