My story

Hey, I'm Janet! It all started in 2018 with a backpack, a one-way ticket to Brazil, and the desire to see more of the world. My first Instagram post from São Paulo got 47 likes. Today, I reach over a million people with a single Reel. But the most important thing has never changed: I share what I truly experience—honestly, personally, and with the camera that has been my constant companion since day one.

What began as a work and travel trip in South America is now my profession and my passion. As one of Germany's most influential travel influencers, I show my community the world as it truly is—with all its beautiful moments, but also the challenges that come with traveling as a woman.

What motivates me

I believe that travel is the best education. Every country, every culture, and every encounter has helped me grow as a person. I am particularly passionate about inspiring other women to travel solo and discover the world on their own. Not because it's always easy—but because it's the most personal way to experience the world.

My content focuses on what personally moves me: a country's cuisine (for me, the fastest way to understand a culture), lifestyle and wellness while traveling, and the visual stories that every place tells. I'm not an extreme adventurer—I'm a curious traveler who enjoys good food, discovering beautiful places, and capturing authentic moments with my camera.

My journey in numbers

Since 2018, I have traveled to over 45 countries — from the rainforests of South America to the temples of Southeast Asia and the coasts of Europe. My highlights: the Salkantay Trek in Peru, the levada walks in Madeira, the sunrise over the Taj Mahal, the street food markets in Bangkok, and the endless beaches of Australia's east coast.

I reach over 2.3 million people on my social media channels. My community consists mainly of travel-loving women between 25 and 40 who are looking for inspiration for their next trip—whether a weekend getaway in Europe or a long-term journey around the world.
